Andrew Friedrichs is a talented trombone player and composer. He shared a rough sketch of an idea for the cover of his trombone duet book and asked me to add some color and keep the semi-goofy vibe he was aiming for. I enjoyed bringing his idea to life through this illustration design.
I designed this cover for the National Philharmonic Chamber Players’s album from their live recording. I loved working on this project and creating each letter on the cover.
These three custom lettering designs were inspired by some meaningful conversations with a couple friends and a motivational podcast by Rachel Hollis. Saying “no” is definitely a challenge for me, but feels better all the time with more practice.

Orion Coffee and Tea selected this typography poster design I submitted for their art contest in 2019. This poster hangs on their space themed art wall. I created this first ad for REI Systems, when they hosted a happy hour hiring event. I was especially excited to include this pizza illustration in the ad with the typography. The event coordinators decided not to serve pizza at the event, so I created the second design.
This newly launched small business specializes in handcrafted, custom-made, wearable goods. The logo was created to reflect the exceptionally unique and versatile qualities of the company’s line of products.
